Our Story

The Cervasi name honors Katie’s maiden name and the family’s deep Sicilian roots.
A Family Legacy
This photograph features Sam Paris (Parisi) and Katie (Cervasi) Paris, the parents of Paris Brothers founders and owners Joseph and Sal Paris.
Their family’s Sicilian heritage, love of food, and commitment to quality helped lay the foundation for what would become Paris Brothers and its family of brands. Those values continue to guide Cervasi today, influencing the products we select, source, and bring to market.
In 1989, when Paris Brothers partnered with Colavita to private label its pasta, the family chose to honor their heritage by naming the brand after Katie’s maiden name, Cervasi. Since then, the Cervasi name has become synonymous with authentic Italian ingredients, traditional craftsmanship, and a passion for sharing the flavors of Italy with American tables.
Today, Cervasi remains a proud part of the Paris Brothers family of brands, carrying forward a legacy rooted in family, tradition, and a belief that exceptional food begins with exceptional ingredients.
